This week's messages
Active Living
Have you ever tried to swim against the current in a
river or the ocean? You may swim hard and feel like
you're making progress but when you look at the
shoreline, you have gone backwards instead of
forwards. This is what passive living is like and when
we live passively, progress seems to move in reverse.
Each day can resemble the previous one and the days
turn into weeks, then months and even years and we
find ourselves in the same place, doing the same things
or worse, making no progress at all. We are unhappy or
feel stuck and life can seem very long and tiresome.
When we are living actively, we are flowing with the
current, watching miracles unfold before us and each
day presents us with a new, joyful adventure.
When we begin to live actively we accept responsibility
for our reality and learn to live by intention, instead of
by accident. Passive living is living 'by accident', where
things just seem to happen to us and we are so busy
addressing the drama and chaos that we cannot find
the time to even think about the reality of dreams,
much less focus our attention on creating it. It is hard
to make the change from passive to active living when
we are mired in chaos because we are fooled into
thinking that we must work harder to control the
process if we are ever going to succeed. And yet, it is
the other way around-the more we let go and allow
the Universal energy to work for us, the easier our lives
become. The key to living actively is to surrender to
the process.
Surrendering has nothing to do with giving up, losing
hope or relinquishing our power. When we surrender,
we give up our need to control and move forward with
our mind, heart and soul in perfect harmony so that
each choice that we make reflects the best possible
one for our spiritual path. It does not mean that our
journey will always be easy, for we still have lessons to
learn, but it will be less chaotic and dramatic (as long
as we choose that). In order to surrender we must live
actively, being fully present in the moment and seeing
our lives as a journey that unfolds according to our
intention. Surrender is the greatest expression of our
power and the way in which we work with the Universe
to fulfill our Soul purpose.
This week, look at where you are in the river of life. Are
you swimming hard and getting nowhere or feel like you
are moving in reverse? Are you practicing active or
passive living? What can you do to surrender to the
process and allow yourself to work with the Universal
energy? It is time for us to live smarter, not harder, to
actively live our lives in the present moment and to
surrender to the process, knowing that when we
surrender we take control of our power and unite the
mind, heart and Soul in a singular purpose, to live a life
that we love, one filled with peace, joy and
unconditional love.

process of surrender and stepping into your power.

No Pain, No Gain
If we want to have a tone and trim body, we have to
suffer through long hours of exercise. If we want to be
a successful business professional, we must be willing
to make painful personal sacrifices. If we want to do
well in school we have to study hard. If we believe
the 'no pain, no gain' theory then we believe that
anything that we want will be hard to acquire and that
unless we work hard we will fail to get it. Many of us
have heard this message for so long that we believe it
is true, to the point where we believe that if we do not
work hard, sacrifice and suffer that we will not succeed
in life. What is wrong with this picture?
Our reality is created through our beliefs so if we
believe that pain must occur before we achieve our
goals, we will spend time suffering before we receive
our blessings. And the 'no pain, no gain' belief can
extend into many areas of our life. We can even have
the belief that we are a better person if we suffer or
that the more we suffer the greater our reward will be.
What we are just beginning to learn is that we can
have the rewards without the suffering, and that
the 'no pain, no gain' mentality is a thing of the past.
Think of one thing that you want to have in your life
right now, perhaps a new car. If you believe that
buying a new car means financial struggle then you
have prepared for the pain. Yes, you need and want a
new car, the gain, but you will have to go through
some pain in order to get it. Now, without the 'no pain,
no gain' mentality, you simply focus on getting a new
car. How is it going to come to you without suffering?
Any number of ways, someone could give you a car or
you could buy it at a very reasonable price from
someone who needs to sell it quickly, or you could win
one in a contest, etc. Once we remove the belief that
we have to experience pain to receive what we want,
we are open to the limitless possibilities for what we
want to come to us.
If we have the 'no pain, no gain' mentality, we
essentially tell ourselves that pain is a prerequisite for
all of the good in our lives. If that is the case, are
there goals that we avoid or things that we do not ask
for because we don't want to experience the pain?
Once we rid ourselves of the 'no pain, no gain'
mentality we can move forward through the
manifestation process much more quickly because we
can eliminate the pain and suffering and move on to
enjoying what we manifest. It's an easy process to
identify-what do you think you have to suffer,
emotionally, financially, materially or in terms of time or
effort, to receive what you have asked for? That's the
pain. Give it to the Universe and simply manifest your
desires and watch them roll into your life, painlessly.

Uriel's Message-Create Your Version of Heaven
What do you think heaven is? The place your soul
returns to when your body dies? A place where you can
finally be at rest, free from the burdens of life? A
reward for a life well lived? Heaven is all of those things
and more. It is the place where all is at peace, where
joy and unconditional love reign, where there is no
hatred, anger or fear. It is a place where you live in
perfection with the knowledge that you are perfection
and where you feel safe and secure. But Heaven is not
a place where you go, it is something that you carry
with you every day of your life. It is here with you and
accessible to you right now, at this moment. With your
intention and beliefs, you create your own version of
Heaven in your life every day.
One of the Shift's results is the lifting of the veil
between the spiritual and material worlds. It is now
possible to bring Heaven on earth because humanity is
moving closer to creating that vibration on this planet.
If Heaven is the place where all blessings reside, then
Hell is the place of no blessings. Humanity has existed
somewhere between the two, believing that Heaven
was only available to a chosen few after death. That
was not true then and it is not true now. Heaven is a
state of being, where humanity co-exists with the
spiritual world. And you get closer to Heaven every day
as you move forward on your spiritual path and
surrender to the possibility of being co-creators of your
lives.
Do you live in Heaven or even close to it? If that is not
how you would describe your reality, then know that it
is available to you. Once you decide that you will
create your own version of Heaven, where you live in
peace and harmony with your Soul purpose, work with
the Universal energy and surrender to your spiritual
journey, it will become your reality. You create your
version of Heaven when you affirm your perfection, for
everything in Heaven is perfect, and live with the
knowledge that you are powerful and capable of
manifesting every dream. You move away from Heaven
when you live in fear and doubt, when you allow chaos
and drama to rule your lives and to believe that you are
disconnected from the Source.
The veil between the spiritual and material continues to
lift as more of humanity embraces their spirituality and
allows the vibration of Heaven to reside on the planet.
Each person who raises their vibration brings more of
Heaven to earth. As you create your version of Heaven
you assist in this process. This week, define what your
version of Heaven looks like. What do you feel like
when you live in Heaven, how happy are you? Know
that as you set your intention for your Heaven to exist
in your life, you create the energy for it to happen.
Your purpose is to bring peace, joy and unconditional
love to all of humanity, beginning with yourself. Create
your version of Heaven now and watch it manifest in
your life.

Indigos and Cause and Effect
There is a new generation of children in the world and
they are known by many names, including Indigo and
Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever
name they are known by, they are a generation that
we have never seen before and they have special
needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo
children represent the new, higher energetic patterns
that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational
frequency.This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they
also have certain needs and the purpose of this series
is to help them and their parents find solutions to these
needs so that Indigos and Crystals can do the work
that they came here to do.
Despite their intelligence and intuitive abilities, Indigos
seem to have little understanding of cause and effect.
They do not understand the relationship between
certain actions and their results, between what they
say and how we interpret their words and how that
process works in general. They are not being difficult or
irresponsible, they just don't always get it. So when
things happen to them or they must acknowledge their
responsibility in creating problems in their lives, how
those things happened is a mystery to them. They can
then feel misunderstood, taken advantage of or
somehow blamed for things that they feel they did not
contribute to. We know that they did but when we
explain it to them, they feel that we are against them
as well. Parents of Indigos quickly learn that they
spend a lot of time defending themselves or arguing
with their children.
I have previously written that Indigos learn their
lessons the hard way and it seems to be part of this
energy. They cannot learn from others' experience,
they must experience things for themselves. But with
their inability to understand how they created their
problems in the first place, they often repeat lessons
several times before they understand how the process
works. It is frustrating for them in addition to playing
upon their existing belief that no one understands
them. With their predisposition for depression and low
self-esteem, it is a situation that can quickly grow out
of control. Additionally, since they are so passionate
about everything, they take each slight and setback
very personally and can allow them to totally derail
their efforts and stop them from doing anything at all.
What is the solution?
As always, calm and patient communication is very
important with Indigos. They do listen when we talk to
them, even if they act like they don't. But we need to
persist, to explain the concept of cause and effect to
them in a way that is free from blame and judgment. If
we can remove the personal side of an issue-you did
this and here's where you messed up-and put it into a
more objective context, oriented to a cause and
effect scenario-this action led to this series of
results, then they will feel less threatened and that
makes calm dialogue possible. We may have to repeat
the discussion several times before they fully
comprehend, but they will. As their parents, friends,
educators and mentors, we have been given the task
of guiding Indigos into their roles in the world. The most
important thing that we can do to help them is to
establish strong communication bonds so that they
believe that we do understand what they are feeling
and going through. Then we can give them some
effective tools for living, including the knowledge that
certain actions lead to certain results and how to avoid
creating problems for themselves.
