Living in crisis can become a way of life that, once started, we are unable to stop. Part of our inability to get out of crisis mode is our fear of what will happen if we let go and stop dealing with the crisis. When we are in crisis mode we are always doing something, so we do not have time or the energy to step back and take a detached view of the situations that are occurring. We can't, for example, take time to stop if our life is falling apart. Or can we?

Being in constant crisis mode gives us something to do, a focus for our energy and we can see the results of our efforts, most of the time. When we have solved a crisis we can feel like we have accomplished something, have done something useful with our time and life. Learning to deal with constant crisis is something we learn from others and may even have grown up in an environment where crisis was normal. So we don't know anything else. And we would not know what to do if our lives were peaceful, with no 'crisis du jour' to solve. What would we do with our time?

The Shift invites us to look at how we spend our time and what we are doing with our energy. It is our choice to solve the daily crisis or to spend our time and energy in different ways. Can we accept a life without crisis? If we are to learn to live in peace and unconditional within the human family we must first learn to live without crisis in our own lives, freeing ourselves of the fear of what might happen if we learn to 'be' instead of 'do'. Letting go of our fear is a first step to stepping out of crisis and moving towards a more peaceful, less chaotic way of living. It is a challenge that we are all called to examine and to choose whether we can learn to accept that living in crisis is just one choice for our reality. The Shift is bringing a new potential for the world, living in harmony and peace. Without crisis, we can all do what we came here to do, raise our consciousness and that of humanity and create heaven on earth.

Uriel's Message-Why do you Heal?

Each soul chooses its life path according to what it needs to experience. Each person's journey is different and has its own trials and lessons. From the outside, it may appear that another's journey is so much easier than yours. But you are not aware of their soul's commitment in this lifetime. It may be that they have no healing to do or that they have chosen to disregard their healing, which is their choice. Your healing journey is there to teach you about yourself, to help you find and claim your power and to arrive at a greater spiritual understanding.

You heal because it is what your soul is called to do. The healing journey is often not the problem, it is the pain and difficulty associated with the healing. And yet even that is optional. You do not have to experience pain in order to heal. The person who appears to be experience a life without lessons could actually have made the choice to experience their healing journey without pain and chaos. You can heal without chaos once you are aware that it is an option. Chaos is always optional. Since you believe that healing is accompanied by pain, you choose that form of healing. You can choose other ways to heal that are far less painful and disruptive once you align your mind and spirit and make those choices.

Your healing journey also benefits everyone in your soul group. Each healing experience that you complete benefits you as well as all of those involved. Together, you have all chosen a particular healing journey. But how you experience the healing is up to you. When you choose to heal without pain, you grant the same choice to everyone in your soul group. As you learn to appreciate your lessons you can find the beauty in the healing process and you will know that you heal because it is the gift of the Shift, an opportunity for you and all of humanity to learn to heal without pain, to live without fear and to move forward along your collective spiritual path. You heal because you have come to change the world and heal its emotional and spiritual wounds. Each of you has the power to heal yourself, your soul group and the world. And you can do so without pain, gracefully, and move the world into alignment with its spiritual connections.

Indigos and Child Abuse

I am old enough to remember a time when stories of child abuse, pornography, pedophilia and child slavery were not in the news. While I am sure that these things went on, they did not appear to be happening at the rate they do today. Has something happened to the world or is there something else going on? Why is this painful subject suddenly being uncovered all over the world? Has the world become a place where children are continuously exploited or are children making us more aware of this issue? I believe that both of those statements are true. Children have always been exploited and were once voiceless, nameless and without recourse. The Indigo generation has come to change the system and they do so by exposing everything that is wrong with it. Indigo children all over the world are participating in this task by making us aware of the abuse and exploitation that children suffer.

Indigo children are particularly sensitive to the plight of children and the need for social change with respect to how children are treated. They can channel their outrage and anger into action, as we have seen many of them do. They do this in many ways. Some Indigo children put themselves in physical danger, as did the 165 children, held hostage and then killed by a bomb in Russia, to force the world to pay attention to their situation. Indigo children will do what it takes to get our attention so that we work with them to create a world honors everyone, including children. Sometimes the issue of child abuse and exploitation can be overwhelming because it is painful to acknowledge that the world is not a safe, warm and gentle place for children. What can we do?

When I was young I never heard the term 'child abuse', yet all children today know what it is and what it means. While we are distressed by the stories of the abuse that some children suffer, we no longer turn a blind eye and allow parents to mistreat their children simply because it is their prerogative as parents to do so, which was once the case. We are aware of the mistreatment of children in other countries and can protest by refusing to purchase goods that are produced through the use of child labor. We can support the work the efforts of Indigo children who decide to do what they can to change what they view as intolerable situations. We can become more sensitive to the needs and plight of children in our neighborhoods and in the world and help to ensure that children all over the world are treated with dignity and respect. And, we can love, honor and cherish our own children, knowing that they are part of the generation whose mission is to create a world that is safe and nurturing for everyone, including children.
