This week's messages
Moving Forward
When we have completed the release process,
acknowledging the situation, accepting the truth,
practicing forgiveness and surrendering to the Universe,
we are on a new path, able to move in a different
direction. Until we release, we are stuck in cycles of
feeling, believing and reacting with people and
situations. Once we are out of those cycles, we are on
a new path, able to move in what may be completely
different directions for us.
One thing the release process does for us is to remove
the burdens that we carry, whether they involve
people or situations. When we are free of these
burdens it can be difficult to know what to do next.
How do we interact with the people we have released,
if we have to interact with them at all? What do we do
with our own lives now that we no longer have to live
with chaos, fear or drama? Making that switch can be
confusing because now we can do whatever we
choose-what are we going to choose?
As we release our burdens we free ourselves to
practice manifesting the reality that we want. Without
burdens, we are free to create whatever we want. All
we have to decide, to move forward is what we want.
And we can change that at any time. Moving forward
means that our live become ours to create in any way
we want. We must remember that release is a gift that
we give ourselves so that we no longer live our present
reality through the past. Until we are ready to release
the past creates the template through which we create
our present and future realities. We make the decision
to release because we are ready to let go, to live a
different way. That decision takes courage and
commitment to our spiritual growth. Once we release,
the only choice that we have to make is how we want
our lives to be.
Release is a process of closure, of completing cycles
that we have repeated through many lifetimes, with
ourselves and others. It is through the process of
release that we are able to choose our reality, instead
of allowing our past to choose it for us. Release is a
process of honoring ourselves, of doing what is right for
us and taking one step closer to the peace, joy and
unconditional love that we want in our lives. When we
give ourselves the gift of release we honor ourselves as
spiritual begins, we honor our connection to the
source, we move forward on our spiritual path and get
a glimpse of heaven. As we do this for ourselves, we
also make it a possibility for all of humanity and then
we will bring heaven on earth for everyone.

Blessings to you all!
The May article is posted on the Uriel Heals website
and this month's message is about How to Release. One
lesson of the Shift is to release that which no longer
serves us. How do we do that and feel good about it?
There are five steps to the process. This week's
message is on the final step, Moving Forward. Once we
have completed the release process, knowing what to
do next can be confusing. How do we act, what do we
do? What does moving forward mean? This week's
Today's Children article discusses
how Indigo children handle the pressure of being a child
today--one hint, they don't.
Archangel Uriel's message is about doing your part in
completing your lessons and then stopping. The series
on Indigos and Suicide is available on the Today's
Children page, in response to
your requests. Read the newsletter in Spanish at Zona
Mistica. The link is on the Uriel Heals home page.

Seeing Others' Fears
We have all been faced with a situation where someone
makes an unreasonable demand or tries to manipulate
us into doing something. When we realize what has
happened, our first response can be anger at them for
their behavior and at ourselves for being taken
advantage of. But if we look at the situation from a
spiritual perspective and remove the emotion, we are
faced with someone who is afraid and through their
fear, believes that the only way they can move ahead
in life is to bully or manipulate others. Instead of
fuming about what they have done, we can gain much
insight into their behavior by asking 'what are they
afraid of?'.
People who live in fear are always in reaction mode.
The current drama or crisis demands immediate
resolution and they will find the first available person to
help them fix it, either willingly or unwillingly. When
someone lives in fear they are outside the realm of
unconditional love so it doesn't occur to them to ask
for help on the spiritual plane. Since they are in a state
of constant anxiety, they need tangible help, in the
form of another person, to get them out of their
drama. And when someone else is there to help, they
remember that they are not alone.
When we are faced with people who live in fear, they
can evoke an interesting mix of emotions from us,
ranging from anger to frustration to denial. We won't
listen to or help them because we know it's a never-
ending struggle, we've done this before (perhaps
several times) and they never learn. But we can help
them by first understanding their fear and dealing with
the situation from that perspective. Once we
understand their fear we can use our own spiritual
knowledge to address it in an appropriate way. That
doesn't mean that we have to agree to help them
resolve their life dramas. Sometimes we encounter
these people as a test of our ability to be
compassionate, to help others on their journey and to
share what we have learned.
What we can do is respond to those in fear in a way
that acknowledges their fear and shows them that we
understand where they're coming from. Whether or not
they accept our response is up to them but we have
done our part. Sometimes we will be faced with these
situations so that we can share our spiritual
understanding with others. And, because everyone is a
mirror of us, perhaps even look at our own fears in the
process. Although we're each on our own spiritual
journey, we don't live in a vacuum and we will be faced
with people who try our patience, at the very least.
How we deal with them is a reflection of our own
spiritual growth and understanding. Sometimes telling
someone 'I know you're afraid' is all it takes to give
them a different perspective. Our task, as
Lightworkers, is to learn and then to share our learning
with others. And we do that through compassion and
understanding.

Uriel's Message-Do your Part and Stop
There are many ways to heal your karma with others.
From a spiritual perspective, you can learn the karma's
lesson, apply forgiveness and your part in the lesson is
over. From an emotional perspective, you can try to
arrive at a resolution that the mind and ego are
comfortable with, which can mean that you want
recognition, an apology and acknowledgement of your
value and participation. When you approach karma from
the spiritual perspective, your understanding of the
lesson is complete when you are able to forgive and
move on. But when you look for validation from the
emotional perspective, you are able to partially heal the
karma but it will continue. Karma is complete when you
do your part and stop.
It is written that the great teacher Jesus fed the
crowds with fish and bread. This is a parable for the
knowledge and understanding that he provided to
them. It is not written, however, that he fed them; he
merely made the 'food' available to them. It is not
possible to force another to understanding, just as you
cannot order someone who is not hungry to eat. When
you try to force your perspective of understanding on
another, it is like trying to force them to eat when they
are not hungry.
Learning to do your part and stop means that you do
what is necessary for your soul's understanding in a
lesson and then you stop, allowing the other person to
get what they need from the lesson. This may not
deliver a resolution that the mind and ego are
comfortable with. But that is not your part of the
lesson. Your part only involves what you need to learn.
The other person may have another aspect of the
lesson to deal with and they will address it at a level
they are comfortable with. When you force another to
a level of understanding and acceptance that you are
comfortable with, you violate their free will.
Each person that you have karma with has their own
spiritual lessons to resolve and it is different for each of
you. No one is better than or more competent than
another. Each of you lives in total perfection. When
you feel that another just isn't 'getting it' you are
judging them based on your reality; they do not live in
your reality and you do not live in theirs. When you can
do your part of a lesson and stop, you acknowledge
that you have learned what you need to in a lesson
and you are free to move on. The other person is
moving on as well, but in their own way. By learning to
do your part and then allowing yourself to be released
from the lesson, no matter what the outcome, you
acknowledge and honor everyone's spiritual growth and
free yourselves to move on to other things. And you
release yourselves from your karma with others and
move into relationships without karma.

Indigos and Pressure
There is a new generation of children in the world and
they are known by many names, including Indigo and
Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever
name they are known by, they are a generation that
we have never seen before and they have special
needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo
children represent the new, higher energetic patterns
that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational
frequency. This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they
also have certain needs and the purpose of this series
is to help them and their parents find solutions to these
needs so that Indigos and Crystals can do the work
that they came here to do.
Have you noticed how everything today is much more
serious than it used to be? I remember when school
was just school, a place where you went to learn to
read and write. It wasn't the competitive, high pressure
place that it is today. I remember when hanging out
with friends meant riding bicycles around the
neighborhood. Now it is going to the mall wearing the
right clothes or going to parties where any number of
things happen. There is so much pressure on today's
children to have the 'right' credentials, wear the 'right'
clothes and say the 'right' things. Today's children
don't seem to have time for fun anymore and 'fun'
seems to have taken on a new meaning. The pressure
is there but the Indigos aren't buying it. When they feel
pressure to succeed, conform, behave a certain way,
they just say no, usually quite loudly and in a disruptive
way. Are they trying to tell us that we are taking
things much too seriously?
My Indigo son had friends, twin boys, who were from a
very wealthy family. Although these boys were
identical, they could not have been more different. One
boy was the total conformist who dressed as expected,
who took advantage of his parents' wealth and who
was everything that they expected. The other boy, an
Indigo, was just the opposite. His parents' wealth
embarrassed him. His cell phone ID for his house
was 'hell' and he had long dreadlocks, wore a Rasta
cap, dressed in the worst clothes he could find and
although quite intelligent, was failing in school. The
pressure was on, but he was not interested. He spent
a lot of time at our house because he was accepted
there and there was no pressure for him to do anything
but be himself.
When too much pressure is put on Indigos they simply
shut down, turn off, tune out and decline to
participate. It is only in the past five to seven years
that so much pressure is being put on children to
succeed, to become superstars. Many children today
are stressed out, others are simply not participating. In
this mix the Indigos can easily be identified; they're the
ones who are not participating. I'm not sure why or
how things changed, but they have certainly gotten
out of balance. Indigos often ridicule the current
system as 'stupid' (this seems to be one of their
favorite words) and can get depressed about it. It's
not that they don't have the ability to conform-they
are certainly smart and attractive enough; they just
can't. It goes against their nature. As their parents and
teachers, we can help them by taking a critical view of
what we expect from our children. Are we being
unreasonable? Is there a need for change? One good
way to answer these questions is to look at what the
Indigos are doing. They are our barometer for this time.
If they are not participating, chances are there is
something wrong with the process and it needs to be
changed. What are we going to do to change it?
