Conscious Power
Everyone's reality is a reflection of their conscious use
of their power. The world is a reflection of humanity's
conscious use of its power. The state of our reality
reflects how powerful we believe we are as does the
state of the world. We all have access to exactly the
same source of power and the ability to use it in
exactly the same way. We choose both whether we will
accept it and how we will use it, consciously or
unconsciously.
Many of us have learned to live without using our
power, believing that it is something to fear or that we
have little control over. And this can change with each
situation-at times we feel very powerful; at other
times we can feel completely powerless. We tend to
look at the difficult aspects of our reality and use those
to affirm our powerlessness. But these are not
examples of our lack of power; they are simply choices
that we made without using our power. When we are
conscious of our power we are able to use it in every
area of our lives so that our reality reflects what we
want, not what simply 'happens' to us. When we are
unconsciously powerful our reality is a jumbled mix of
the good and the truly awful.
It takes courage to consciously express our power and
a willingness to accept responsibility for our reality and
ourselves. But the rewards are unlimited, both on a
personal and global level. As with other aspects of our
spiritual being, when accept and utilize our power we
enable a stronger Source connection for ourselves and
for others around us. As Lightworkers we were not born
with more power than others, just an awareness of our
power and a greater ability to connect to it. Whether
we choose to do that is a reflection of our willingness
to live in a state of conscious power.
Are we, as Lightworkers, willing to not only accept our
power but the responsibility that comes with it? At this
time, when all of humanity is experiencing the Shift,
that means that we accept and our spiritual
responsibility to ourselves and its extension to all of
humanity. Each of us plays an important role in the
awakening of the world and each of us has an unlimited
supply of power available to us. When we express our
conscious power, living each day with a total
awareness of the powerful, spiritual beings that we are,
we help create a reality for ourselves and for the world
that reflects the joy, abundance, peace and
unconditional love that is our individual and global
birthright. It is time and we are the messengers who
have agreed to complete this task and we can do it
when we live in conscious power.

How Many Eggs are In Your Basket?
A few years ago my marketing company was awarded a
large contract to develop a project in the Caribbean.
Since the project would take at least six months to
complete, I cleared my calendar of upcoming projects
and sent the invoice for my retainer. Then I waited
and waited for payment. No payment came and they
were less and less responsive to my requests. Finally,
they stopped responding altogether and never paid the
invoice. So I was in a difficult situation since I had
cleared my calendar and had no immediate projects to
generate revenue. It was an expensive and memorable
lesson-I put all of my eggs in one basket and wound
up with 'scrambled eggs'.
Today I would handle that situation much differently
even though the situation appeared so promising.
Today I would have asked more questions, been more
patient and paid attention to the signs. But it seemed
like such a good opportunity, one that would generate
revenue and recognition for my company. And at the
time I needed the money, so I rushed through the
process and didn't even consider that the agency may
not have the money to pay for my services.
How often do we jump at a situation and put all of our
attention and energy towards it taking the time to ask
enough questions and give events time to unfold? And
if the opportunity appears at a time when we are in
need, whether it is of a job, relationship, money or
other necessity, our first impulse is to grab it quickly,
before it has a chance to get away or to go to
someone else. But when we do that we essentially put
all of our 'eggs in one basket' and just may find
ourselves in a place where we learn a difficult lesson.
It is important to focus our attention and intention on
what we want and then to be discerning of what
comes to us. We use our discernment to ask important
questions--is it right for us, is the timing right, is it
unfolding effortlessly? If there are signs that there is a
problem, can we release it, knowing that everything
that we willingly release is replaced with something
much better? The Universe is never unkind or tricky,
but we do receive lessons that test our ability to
say 'no' to things that are simply not in our Highest
Good. Perhaps our lesson is to turn our attention in
another direction, that we need to be doing something
else. This week, look at a situation where you are
focusing all of your energy and intention. It could be a
relationship, a career matter, a financial need. Are you
putting all of your eggs in one basket? Are there signs
that you should be focusing on other things? If the
process is not effortless, there is a lesson to be learned
and the best solution may be to let it go and to trust
that the Universe will bring something new and different
that will be more suited to your time and energy.

Uriel's Message-Cultivate a Peaceful Heart
You each have two heart energies, a spiritual heart and
your emotional heart. The emotional heart is the one
that can be wounded by others. It is the one that
sheds tears over unmet expectations, broken
relationships and experiences hurt feelings. The
emotional heart is controlled by the ego and creates
attachments to what others say or do and your own
self-worth. It can be destroyed, belittled and even
broken through your life experiences. Your emotional
heart can compel you to do and say things out of fear
or anger, reacting to others in ways that you may not
have believed yourself to be capable of.
Your spiritual heart is your connection to Source and is
overshadowed by the ego when your emotional heart is
in charge. When you respond to others through your
spiritual heart you do so with unconditional love
because that is the language of Spirit. When you
experience life through your spiritual heart you cannot
be wounded or hurt by others because there is no ego
connection. And when you love through your spiritual
heart you experience fulfilling, joyful relationships
whose only energy is unconditional love. Since
everything that you attract is a mirror of your own
energy, when your spiritual heart is sending out
unconditional love that is what you will receive in
return.
When the emotional and spiritual heart energies are in
balance, the result is a peaceful heart where your
emotional heart supplies the emotional energy that you
exchange with others and your spiritual heart supplies
those relationships with unconditional love. The
contribution of the ego is less powerful and the result is
wonderful relationships in all areas of your life with
people who respect and honor you. You no longer
have to experience relationships that question your self-
worth, those that wound you, unless you choose to do
so.
When you have a peaceful heart you cannot be
heartbroken, sad or despondent over what others say
or do. A heart that is at peace is one that is filled with
unconditional love for yourself and for everyone. It can
still experience emotions but without the attachments
that can disrupt your peace and joy. When your heart
is at peace you do not have to experience relationships
that make you question your value or self-worth. When
you cultivate a peaceful heart you attract relationships
that reflect the energy of unconditional joy that you
feel for yourself and you share that with others.
Cultivating a peaceful heart is something you can do
when you are ready to experience relationships on a
different level, free from drama and whose only energy
is unconditional love. When you are ready to do so,
allow Spirit to guide you to bring balance between your
emotional and spiritual heart energies and all of your
relationships will vibrate with the energy of
unconditional love.

Today's Children--What Yesterday?
There is a new generation of children in the world and
they are known by many names, including Indigo and
Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever
name they are known by, they are a generation that
we have never seen before and they have special
needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo
children represent the new, higher energetic patterns
that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational
frequency.This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they
also have certain needs and the purpose of this series
is to help them and their parents find solutions to these
needs so that Indigos and Crystals can do the work
that they came here to do.
Indigo and Crystal children are experts at living in the
present moment. They have very short memories of
what happened yesterday or even a few minutes ago.
At times it is difficult to discuss the past with them
because they have truly forgotten it. With Indigos,
their short term memory for the past often prevents
them from learning from their mistakes. So they charge
back into the situation that you may have just rescued
them from, forgetting whatever lessons they may have
learned and believing that they can just forge ahead
and this time it will work out. Crystals are more
sensitive and tend to take things much more
personally. A past setback is not something they care
to remember because they are wounded by their
experiences although they may not talk about it.
Although they may not remember the exact details,
they do remember how they felt and who was involved,
even the young Crystals.
These generations are here to help us move into the
new ways of being, the new world that the Shift is
creating. Their ability to live in the present moment has
a purpose, to teach the world to focus on what is
happening at the moment instead of focusing on what
happened in the past. But since they tend to forget
the past and its lessons, they do create problems for
themselves by repeating experiences that they may be
better off leaving behind them. To the Crystal children,
the pain that they experience serves as a reminder
that the world is not ready for them and may cause
them to retreat into their own world, not as an
expression of weakness, but as a form of protection.
Even the adult Indigo and Crystal generations
experience this and it is why many of us often repeat
lessons, thinking that the next time it will be different.
I never underestimate the difficult of parenting these
children because the parenting methods that we
learned from our parents simply don't work with them.
Maybe that is a good thing because many of us go to
great lengths to avoid treating our children the way our
parents treated us. But it also leads us to ask how we
are supposed to deal with children who simply cannot
seem to function in the world. At an extreme, many
Indigos become seriously addicted to drugs while
Crystal children become emotionally and sometimes
physically unresponsive. If we understand that they
don't remember what happened to them before today
or even this moment, then we can focus on helping
them make today happen in a positive way. One of my
Indigo children refuses to be reminded of the past, and
instead says 'this is today, Mom.' He's right and
focusing on what he can do today instead of reminding
him of what he did yesterday is one way that I have
been able to help him make more constructive choices.
By focusing on what his options are today, I don't
remind him of how he failed before (and thus further
damaging his self esteem) and we are able to have
constructive, positive and beneficial discussions. He's
even making better choices for himself and is more
confident in his ability to make good choices, which is a
victory for both of us.
