This week's messages
The Wish for Change
How often do we ask for a different job, relationship, a
change in our life direction or life circumstances? And
when those changes occur, they can be so upsetting
and painful that we panic, forgetting that we asked for
the change to occur, however unconsciously. Every
time we think or say 'I wish things were different' we
are opening the door to change. Even if our mind is not
ready to accept the change, our soul knows that it is
time. And when we wish for change the Universe hears
us and begins to bring change to us.
A friend of mind lost her job last week. She was upset
and afraid because she needs the income and the
layoff was a surprise. But for the last six months I have
listened to her complain about her job, the working
conditions and the fact that she was underemployed
and unhappy. And she wished for a change. She got
her wish and now she must go and look for a new job
and this time she will look for a job that is what she
wants. But change came in a difficult way for her
simply because she was unwilling to acknowledge her
unhappiness and to take the steps to make the
change she was wishing for.
When we wish for something the Universe pays
attention. And although we may be afraid to take the
steps towards making a change, the Universe doesn't
recognize our fear. It simply brings us what we ask for.
So the change maybe difficult to accept and seem like
the worst thing that can possibly happen. But if we
have been wishing for change, it is always in our
Highest Good and is what we asked for, even if we
didn't realize that we were asking.
Have you been wishing for change? Do you wish that a
situation in your life was different? The Universe hears
you and is wiling to help you make the change. It will
bring whatever needs to change to a point where you
must accept the need for change and acknowledge it
and then help you take the steps that you need to
take to step in a different direction. The Universe is not
unkind or mean, that is not the way of the Universe.
But if we wish for change and are unwilling to step out
of our comfort zone, the change will happen, whether
we are ready for it or not. We can make the process of
change easier for ourselves by paying attention to
what we wish for, knowing that our wishes reflect the
desires of our heart and then fearlessly step through
the doors that open to new opportunities.

Create your Inner Space
I have a room in my house where I go to read, be
creative or just sit. It is my room and no one else uses
it. I set up the room for that reason, so I could have a
place to myself and I enjoy it very much. When I am in
my room I am free to do what I want, including being
messy, and don't have to clean it up when I leave-I
simply shut the door. We all need a space like that and
I am very blessed to have this space for myself. But as
much as we need an external space of our own, we
also need an internal space of our own. This inner
space is where we acknowledge who we are, stand in
our power and know the truth about ourselves, no
matter what anyone says to the contrary. And if
someone threatens our internal space, we can simply
shut the door.
It would be nice if everyone in our life respected and
accepted us for who we are but that is not the case.
People make demands of us, have expectations and
want things from us that we cannot or do not want to
deliver. We are judged, criticized and critiqued by
others and sometimes, because we don't meet their
expectations, called a failure or worse. This does more
than make us feel bad, it threatens our self-confidence
and over time, can destroy it completely. For many of
us, our inner space is a wasteland, filled with the
negative things that we have heard from others and
our outer reality mirrors our inner space.
Our inner space is important to us because it provides
us with the tools that we will use to create our reality.
How will we create a great life if we don't think we're
that great? How can we attract love if we don't love
ourselves? And how can we manifest abundance if we
believe that we are poor in spirit? Everything we want
to manifest in our outer world depends on what is in
our inner space. And we must choose what we want
that space to contain so that when we are threatened
in our outer world, we can look into our inner space and
realize that what is in there is much different and that
is the only truth that we need to know.
Creating your inner space takes some reflection and a
few decisions. Can you acknowledge your perfection,
your power and the divine Truth about yourself? When
you focus on that you make your belief in it stronger,
so that your inner space becomes the creative force in
your life. When your inner space is well defined,
anything that happens in your outer reality that is not
in synch with it no longer scares you or causes you
pain, because you know that it is not the truth for you.
This week, spend time defining your inner space and
then whatever others do or say that is hurtful or
unkind, you know what the truth is and can decide
whether you will accept it or simply shut the door
because you know the Truth about yourself and that is
all that matters.

Uriel's Message-The Will of God
Do you want to know what God's Will is for your life?
Why are you here and what are you supposed to do?
Much has been written about the Will of God, most of it
defining the Will of God as something that humanity is
incapable of knowing. The Will of God is seen as an
unknown and unknowable energy that you will work
towards but can never achieve. The only reason it is
that way is because of the separation between the
Source and humanity. For as long as there is belief in
separation, you can never know the Will of God
because you are see God as something outside of
yourselves. But what if knowing the Will of God were
simple, as are most things in the Universe, and knowing
it only involved reconnecting to the Source?
Before knowing the Will of God you must examine your
beliefs about what that will mean to you and to your
life. Do you believe that knowing the Will of God may
disrupt your life as you know it, that you will have to
leave behind all you know and have known and move
into unfamiliar and perhaps difficult life path? Are you
afraid of what you might lose, despite what the gain
might be, if you open yourselves to the Will of God? Do
you fear that knowing the Will of God may force you
into doing things that you do not want to do or cannot
imagine yourself doing?
To know the Will of God means that you must have
faith in your connection to the Source, to know that
you are not outside of the energy of the Source, but
that it lives in you. As powerful as you believe God is,
you are equally as powerful. As wise as you believe God
is, you are equally wise. As divine as you believe God
is, you are equally divine. When you can know these
truths, you will know the Will of God.
The Will of God in your life is the fulfillment of the
spiritual contract that you entered into when you
chose this lifetime. Once you are aware of the truths
and your connection to the Source, knowing the Will of
God and what it means to you involves becoming aware
of your feelings, intuition, knowing and spiritual
guidance. What do they tell you, what are your secret
or unconscious wishes and desires for your life, what
do you wish for yourselves? These are all messages
that indicate of the Will of God and allowing them to
unfold, without fear, allows you to know your purpose,
find your path and gain the understanding to fulfill your
spiritual path. Ask to know the Will of God, without
fear, judgment or expectation and it will be revealed to
you and lead you to peace, joy and unconditional love.

Today's Children--Are We Good Parents?
There is a new generation of children in the world and
they are known by many names, including Indigo and
Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever
name they are known by, they are a generation that
we have never seen before and they have special
needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo
children represent the new, higher energetic patterns
that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational
frequency.This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they
also have certain needs and the purpose of this series
is to help them and their parents find solutions to these
needs so that Indigos and Crystals can do the work
that they came here to do.
Many parents of Indigo children write to me about the
problems that they are having or have had with their
children. And they are difficult problems that involve
drugs, pregnancies, alcoholism, criminal offenses and
even jail. Their question is often the same, could they
have done something to help their children avoid these
things and were they good parents. Surely, if we had
been better parents wouldn't our children have avoided
some of the difficult life experiences that they have
had? Wouldn't they be living more 'normal' lives instead
of still struggling with who they are and what they
have to do? Could we have done something different?
Unfortunately, society's measure of whether we are
good parents is defined by how our children turn out. If
they are 'good' people, in the eyes of society, then we
must have been good parents. But if they turn
out 'badly' then we must have done something wrong.
With Indigo children, those judgments simply do not
apply. Much of their behavior is out of our control and
always has been. Nothing that we could have done
would have changed the lessons that they came to
experience or how they experienced them. This
generation, more than any other, has had to know the
most difficult aspects of life and to learn how to heal
them. Many Indigo children do eventually find their path
and eventually grow into their life purpose. It just takes
them longer to get to that point.
We cannot, as parents, blame ourselves for the way
our children's lives appear to be heading at this time.
This is a story that is not yet finished. We must be
patient with them and do our best to support them,
while realizing that 'this too shall pass' and they will
eventually find their way. It may not be what we
wished for, but as our spiritual teachings advise us,
each of us has our path to walk, and that includes our
children. Our intuition provides us with a connection to
them that allows us to know when and how to help,
and when to be patient. To all of those parents who
write me, heartbroken and confused about why their
children chose the paths that they did and wanting
desperately to help and to change the situation I can
only offer, as consolation, the truth about the Indigo
generation. They came, as did the early Indigos who
are now parenting this Indigo generation, to change
the way the world works. As with most pioneers, they
have the courage and energy to address their task but
don't always understand how hard it will be or that
change may not occur as quickly as they would like.
But they are progressing, however slowly it may appear
to be happening. And we can console ourselves with
the knowledge that we were chosen to parent these
children because we provided them with the best and
most perfect upbringing and that we did the best we
could.
