This week's messages
The Price of Love
When my younger son was listening to some of the
music that I enjoyed while I was growing up, his only
comment was that it was all about 'relationships and
broken hearts and stuff.' Listening closely to the lyrics,
I noticed he was right. The songs were about betrayal,
disappointment, frustration, unmet expectations and
pain. And we believe that this is the price that we pay
for love, that we have to expect that someone may
hurt us, no matter how much we love them and want
them to love us.
One of my clients is fully aware that she limits her
ability to be loved because she cannot allow herself to
open her heart to anyone. She believes that the price
of love is being hurt so she decides to not take the
risk. We all believe, because we have experienced both
great joy and great sorrow in love, that there is a high
price to pay for it. And that extends to more than
romantic relationships. We pay a price for different
kinds of love, including acceptance, validation,
friendship, trust and success that can range from
accepting others' bad behavior to completely
reinventing ourselves to gain someone's acceptance
and love.
As Archangel Uriel has written, we will never find
someone who loves us more than we love ourselves.
And there is a price associated with loving ourselves
but it does not have anything to do with pain and hurt.
The price of loving ourselves involves living with
honesty and integrity, knowing our truth and accepting
who we are, unconditionally. When we love ourselves
we never put ourselves in a position where someone
has the power to destroy our confidence, self-esteem
or truth because who we are is not dependent on who
loves us or who we are with.
Every situation and relationship in our lives mirrors how
much we love ourselves. They also mirror what we
believe about the price of love. Once we love ourselves
unconditionally, we attract all kinds of love that
reflects our unconditional self-love back to us. So the
message is quite simple, love yourself and the love you
seek will find you and will be reflected in every area of
your reality. And there will be no price attached to it,
no pain, disillusionment, betrayal or disappointment.
This week, consider what you believe about the price
of love. If you do not have love in your life, and this is
not just romantic love, examine how much you love
yourself. Remember that every aspect of your reality
reflects how much you love yourself. Once you are able
to love yourself unconditionally, you will attract the
love that you desire in every part of your reality.

Are You Channeling?
When I first began channeling many years ago, my
friends and clients told me that my voice and at times
my face would change and I spoke in often broken or
strange English. During these sessions I went into a
trance and was unaware of anything that happened.
The experiences were not always pleasant and I
stopped channeling because I was no longer
comfortable with the idea of allowing other entities
access to my physical and spiritual being. Because of
this aspect of channeling many people associate the
experience with being unable to control the process
and simply do not want to do it. I don't blame them.
But this has changed and many people today channel
information without even being aware of it.
We have now evolved enough spiritually and are so
much more connected to the Source that those
entities who wish to convey messages through us no
longer have to do so when we are in a trance state.
And we can receive messages in any number of ways.
Many of our channelings come through writing, others
through speaking and sometimes they are given to us
through other people. The messages can be meant for
you alone, or they can be intended for a larger
audience.
What is a channeled message? Today it can come in
different forms, including being aware of an internal
voice that speaks to you, seeing signs, or hearing the
same statement, words or concept from different
people. Generally a channeled message answers a
question if it is intended for you, or is an idea or
concept with a broader scope when it is meant to be
shared. There is a wide variety of beings who send
channeled messages at this time, including the
archangels, ascended masters, saints and other
teachers.
Each of us channels according to our abilities, level of
spiritual evolution and willingness to engage in the
process. We must be willing partners in the process in
order to receive the information. Once we agree to do
so, we will be guided as to what to do with it and will
interact with people who are willing and able to help us
bring it to its intended audience. I believe that there
are many levels of channeling, just as there are many
levels of spiritual growth and each person who receives
messages receives the right message for the audience
that they will share the information with, whether that
is one person or one million people. At this time it is
important that we understand and share the
information that we are given as humanity needs it to
move forward along the path of Light. As Lightworkers,
we have come to help this process move forward and it
is time for us to step into this role and share the
information that we are given to bring light to humanity
and heaven on earth.

Uriel's Message-Why Worry?
Do you spend time worrying about what may happen in
the next moment, week, month or year? What do you
believe will be the result of your worry? Will it resolve
the situation or bring a solution? Worry in any form is
an expression of the fear that you feel about a
situation, whether it is about something that has
happened in the past or may happen in the future.
When you worry you are no longer living in the present
moment and all of your attention is focused on what
you fear. Since this is where your energy is flowing you
will manifest more of what you worry about. Worry is
not necessary when you trust that the Universe will
meet all of your needs.
When you worry you create a situation in which you
replay your fears and create even more of what you
are worrying about. And you forget all of your spiritual
knowledge, learning and understanding when you
engage in the process of worrying. You also forget your
role in creating your reality. This shows the Universe
that you do not believe that everything happens in
divine order, that all of your needs are known and will
be provided for and that you are protected and
provided for. When you are constantly mindful of your
power, you know that whatever you turn your energy
towards is manifested in your reality. So why worry if
your intention is to find a solution rather than creating
more of what you do not want?
Worry changes nothing; it only creates fear in your life.
It is also a way that you punish yourself for what you
did not do or say, or how you reacted or did not react,
or for something that happened. Worry often occurs in
the face of change, especially when you create change
that places you in the unknown. If you remember that
you create your reality, you will understand that you
create the situation and are also the creator of the
outcome. But not when you worry about it.
With worry, you turn your power over to your fears and
this leads you to feel that you are powerless. It would
be better for you to acknowledge your fears and to ask
the Universe for help and guidance rather than spend
your time worrying, for worrying will not change
anything. Look for the learning in each situation and
then find a powerful solution instead of worrying.
Focus your intention and energy on creating the
solution that fulfills your Highest Good and whatever
the situation, it will quickly resolve itself in a way that
will restore your confidence in your power and your
faith in the Universe. Replace worry with faith and all
will be well.

Today's Children--Indigos and Testing
There is a new generation of children in the world and
they are known by many names, including Indigo and
Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever
name they are known by, they are a generation that
we have never seen before and they have special
needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo
children represent the new, higher energetic patterns
that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational
frequency.This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they
also have certain needs and the purpose of this series
is to help them and their parents find solutions to these
needs so that Indigos and Crystals can do the work
that they came here to do.
School will be starting again soon and with it comes
testing and the worry that all Indigos face, that they
will not do well. Many schools now use written tests to
assess competence, learning and to determine whether
a student will graduate. Since Indigos do not test well,
they see these tests as a form of punishment and since
their past experience with tests is generally not
positive, they will dread the process, view this as
another opportunity for them to fail and will simply give
up. Schools see this as an indication of their inability to
learn and will classify them as learning or
developmentally disabled. Then they are put into the
special education classes, which embarrasses them and
further enforces their belief that something is wrong
with them. Everyone loses in this process but it is the
education system that has been created and under
which Indigos must learn to function.
My Indigo children did not test well and after a few
failures, simply decided that they were not 'smart
enough' and stopped performing in school altogether.
Getting them to go to school every day became a
chore. Helping them with their homework enabled them
to complete it, but I could not be there for the tests
and no matter how well they did with the daily work,
they inevitably did poorly on tests. Since many Indigos
are dyslexic and have attention and focusing problems,
they do not always process information in a way that
allows them to remember it for a test. They can retain
large amounts of information when they are interested
in the topic. But that generally does not include
reading, math and other school subjects. They do
somewhat better with oral examinations, including
reports and in speaking on topics that they are
interested in.
If you are the parent of an Indigo, you may be
preparing yourself for another year of frustration as the
school year begins. It is difficult to watch your bright,
intelligent child repeatedly fail tests whose purpose is
to measure what they can memorize, not what they
have learned. I spent many hours with the school
administration, arguing for my children's right to testing
that was less generalized and more reflective of their
ability to process information. I also spent many hours
helping them prepare for tests, using various ways to
help them memorize the information that they needed
and then hoped that they could remember it long
enough to take the test. My participation in the
process helped them, as we would go over the same
topics, over and over again, until they could remember
them. What is needed, however, is schools that
recognize creativity and intelligence, and not give
standardized tests whose purpose is to ensure that a
school maintains its funding. I hope that parents will
insist on a greater voice in how their schools are run,
as the current system is simply not working. In the
meantime, be as supportive and helpful with your child
as you can, participate in their homework and learning
and you can help them boost their self-confidence so
that they can pass tests and maintain their interest in
doing well in school and show the world how brilliant,
creative and talented they are.
