This week's messages
The Price of Peace
We all wish for peace, both in our personal lives and in
the world around us. We pray for peace, hold vigils for
peace and even fight for peace. We are told that
peace comes at a price, is often arrived at through
conflict and it demands 'eternal vigilance'. But the price
of peace is not conflict, as we have been led to
believe, it is unconditional love. Whether we want
peace in our own reality or for our global family, in
order to have it we must first be willing to give
unconditional love to ourselves and to everyone else.
The Shift is providing us with opportunities to learn and
practice this concept so that we can help bring peace
to the world.
Finding peace through conflict teaches us that we
must fight for peace to occur. But that is an illusion,
for obtaining peace through conflict only happens when
the other party is overcome or beaten down. Fighting
gives us a sense of purpose; it vindicates the wrongs
that have been done to us and allows us to feel that
we are doing something in the name of creating peace.
When we fight for peace we feel united within a
common purpose which is to show others the error of
their ways and to end conflict. This can create
resentment and bitterness and an opportunity for
future conflict, recycling the karma that exists between
us. Is it easier to fight for peace than to simply love
and accept others? We can create peace without
paying a price but first we need to define what peace
means to us and to be able to create it in our own
reality.
Each of us must decide on a personal definition of
peace, understanding what it means for each of us.
Does it mean having personal freedom, does it describe
the kinds of relationships we have with others or is it
simply the absence of conflict in our reality? When we
have unconditional love for ourselves we will create
peace in our lives but it will be peace that occurs in
the absence of conflict. And that occurs when we live
in the present moment, in a space of non-judgment of
the past, because the past is not part of the present
and extend unconditional forgiveness to ourselves and
others. It is when we are ready and willing to love and
accept ourselves unconditionally that we can love and
accept others and have them love and accept us in
return.
When we practice unconditional love with ourselves
and everyone, the price of peace becomes a non-issue.
For where unconditional love exists peace is the only
outcome. When we are at peace within ourselves all of
the sources of conflict disappear and we can then
experience the 'peace that passes all understanding.'
Then we can see others through the eyes of God and
know that we are all connected, are all the same and
are all part of the human family. When we act out of
unconditional love, peace flows to us, through us and
creates a vibration of peace for the world. Peace has
no price and no condition, other than that we allow
ourselves to be in the present moment and connect
with everyone through unconditional love and then we
will have true and lasting peace.

Blessings to you all!
The August article is posted on the Uriel Heals
website and this month's message is about The Price
We Pay. Is there a consequence to every decision? Do
we measure our choices by what they will cost us?
What if we saw every choice as an opportunity to
explore new possibilities in our spiritual path? This
week's topic is the Price of Peace. When we experience
peace through conflict we learn that the price of peace
is to fight for it. There is a price for peace, but it is not
war, it is unconditional love. Archangel Uriel's
message is about fulfilling your potential. How to get

Lying in the Bed You Made
My mother used to tell me 'you made your bed and you
have to lie in it' when I was in a difficult situation.
What she meant was that I had created something
that I was now stuck with. In her belief system, that
meant forever. And I believed that for a long time too,
until one day she made the 'lying in your bed' comment
to me and I responded with "I think it's time to change
the sheets." She didn't understand what I was talking
about but I had experienced an awakening-I was not
stuck with anything and if I didn't like my current
reality, I had the power to change it.
My mother's generation believed, and still believes, that
things don't and can't change, that we get one
opportunity to create what we want and if that doesn't
work, we're out of luck. Many of them stayed in
difficult relationships or jobs that never allowed them to
fulfill their potential because they never thought that
they could create anything else. This is the generation
that many of us were raised by and these are the
beliefs that they imparted to us. Thankfully, we now
know better.
Everything in our reality reflects what we believe about
it, no more and no less. No matter what a situation is,
it is only our belief about how bad it is or how long the
pain will last that makes it difficult. If we do not believe
that it can be changed, it can seem hopeless. But we
now know that we have the power to change anything
and everything about our reality. And we also have to
remember that we are learning new things every day.
Each experience has something to teach us, including
and especially the ones that we feel are truly horrible.
What do we need to learn so that we can move on
or 'change the sheets'?
That's not to say that there horrible situations don't
exist and that they are acceptable. But we do not
have to stay in any situation that does not bring us
satisfaction and joy. If we do it is because we choose
that as an option for ourselves. We connect to our
power when we decide that we want something
different in our reality, that we are not afraid to choose
joy over sadness, to choose love over pain and to
create the reality that is right for us and allows us to
experience life that reflects our most cherished dreams.
This week, if you are in a difficult situation, examine it
with the belief that change is possible. What changes
can you make in your beliefs about yourself that can
make a new reality possible? You are never stuck
unless you believe you are and the Universe is there to
help you once you decide to make changes. Use this
power to create the reality that you want to live.

Uriel's Message-Your Fullest Potential
The reality that you experience can be one that
expresses your fullest potential, where your every need
is met, your every dream is fulfilled and everything
comes to you effortlessly. That is what you can create
for yourself when you follow spiritual law and principles
in creating your reality. The only thing that limits you
from this is your ability to understand, connect to and
believe in your own potential and then allow it to unfold
in the most perfect way.
You are often limited by what others think that you
should do with your talents and even what they are.
When you allow others to guide you or to accept their
opinions and beliefs as your truth your potential
suffers. Each of you believes that there are standards
for success that are measured in terms of fame or
money. Others achieve those standards by doing
certain things and you may believe that if they can do
it, you should be able to as well. But when what you
attempt does not resonate with your own gifts and
talents, you will find that the path you have chosen is
difficult and success is limited, if not elusive.
Your fullest potential is realized when you honor your
gifts by acknowledging them, whatever they are. Some
of you are healers, teachers, and writers. Others work
with the elderly, young and sick. Some work in prisons,
offices and in construction. Any area of work will allow
you to express your full potential as long as it is what
you truly want to do. In what area does your gift lie?
You can find it in anything that gives you joy, that you
feel passionate about, that you can put your heart
energy into. Do not judge what it is, only that it is
what appeals to you. When you believe that it is not
the right thing to do based on what others think, you
limit your ability to find joy through the work that you
do.
Through the expression of your own gifts and talents
you will be guided to the success and prosperity that
you desire. When prosperity does not come to you it is
because you are not allowing your full potential to
unfold. If you are not sure what that is, pay attention
to what brings you joy or what you wish you could do
with your life. Then open yourself to the full, unlimited
expression of that energy and you will be provided with
opportunities to develop your full potential. This week,
if you are not happy with what you are doing, explore
your potential by focusing on what brings you joy and a
sense of fulfillment. That is where your potential lies.
Be prepared to walk that path and the Universe will
open the doors to its fulfillment. At this time, it is
important that each of you utilize your gifts for they
are what will help you do the work you came here to
do. Be prepared to live your fullest potential and watch
your dreams come true.

Today's Children--Letting Indigos Grow Up
There is a new generation of children in the world and
they are known by many names, including Indigo and
Crystal Children, Star Children, Light Children. Whatever
name they are known by, they are a generation that
we have never seen before and they have special
needs, gifts and talents. The Crystal and Indigo
children represent the new, higher energetic patterns
that are arriving to change the Earth's vibrational
frequency. This new series provides information on
these children and the wonderful gifts they bring to the
world. Along with their special gifts and talents, they
also have certain needs and the purpose of this series
is to help them and their parents find solutions to these
needs so that Indigos and Crystals can do the work
that they came here to do.
Many Indigo children, particularly the ones who are now
in the late teens, have had difficult life experiences. It
is this generation, for example, that exposed the
horrible problems of child physical and sexual abuse,
pornography and other crimes against children. Most of
this generation has first-hand experience with divorce
and living in single parent homes. Most of them have
had problems with some form of addiction and been
diagnosed with learning and/or behavior problems. Many
have spent time in jail or juvenile detention facilities or
been in mental institutions. And many have attempted
or committed suicide. This all seems like a very bad
way for them to have begun their lives. But this is what
they came to experience and to do and their work
doesn't start when they reach adulthood, it started
when they are born.
Indigos have a problem with growing up and accepting
responsibility for their lives. This is partly because they
have, in many cases, been traumatized as children and
partly because they are generally emotionally immature.
But it is also because their parents, in a well-meaning
way, try to make up for their earlier experiences by
allowing them to extend their childhood a little longer
and delay the moment when they will have to take
responsibility for their lives. We do it because we mean
well but are we truly helping or just making their
problems worse? When do we stop protecting them
from life and allow them to grow up?
I speak from experience here, as I have also allowed
my Indigo children to delay accepting their adult
responsibilities gave them more leeway than my own
parents did for me, although I could have used some
extra time. I'm not saying whether it is right or wrong
or good or bad. I believe that it depends on the child.
But, at some point we must let go and allow our Indigo
children to accept responsibility for themselves and for
their actions. I have been criticized for treating one of
my adult children like a child but I know that he needed
the extra time to take control of his own life. He has
learned some difficult lessons and while it was hard to
stand aside and not get involved, I knew that it was
time to let go and let him handle the consequences of
his actions. You will know when the time is right for
your child and will be able to stand aside and allow
them to grow up. Many Indigos in their late teens and
early twenties are still reluctant to step into their lives
and need our support. We need to decide what is right
for them and for us. When it's OK to let them use their
wings, you will know. They may fall a few times but
they will figure it out and learn to fly on their own.
